The change of blade spacing ratio (blade spacing/blade diameter) of spiral ground screw pile is an important factor affecting the ultimate uplift and compressive capacity of pile, According to the experimental study, when the blade spacing ratio S/D=3~4, the ultimate bearing capacity of the screw pile is relatively good.The tensile and compressive capacity of four blades helical pile increases with the increase of blade diameter (blade diameter square), and the relationship is approximately linear.
Compared with traditional cement pile, the helical screw pile avoids the problem of fracture in the construction process of pile, and has better bearing capacity. Generally, spiral screw pile can be used for 40-80 years.
